BUCKCHERRY Frontman To Guest On New 'Bones' Episode
April 14, 2010As the next installment of Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp in London, England at the historic Abbey Road studios May 25-31 nears, word has come that a death is being investigated at the Camp.
But it's not anything would-be rock stars need to worry about — it is for an upcoming episode of Fox-TV's hit series "Bones".
BUCKCHERRY frontman Josh Todd guests in the April 29 episode, "The Rocker In The Rinse Cycle", which investigates the death of a rich adventure-seeker — last seen at the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp — found dead in a washing machine. The appropriate weapon of choice: a 1957 Gibson Les Paul "Black Beauty."
In real life, the next Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp will feature rock stars, including Nick Mason (PINK FLOYD),Alan White (YES),Jack Bruce (CREAM),Spike Edney (QUEEN),Mick Ralphs (BAD COMPANY),Joey Molland (BADFINGER),Jeff Foskett (BRIAN WILSON, BEACH BOYS),Phil Solem (THE REMBRANDTS),Jamie Moses (PRETENDERS, QUEEN),Mark Hudson and Kip Winger.
This return to London marks a bittersweet occasion, as it will give musicians one of the last chances to record at Abbey Road studios, where historic albums like PINK FLOYD's "Dark Side Of The Moon", RADIOHEAD's "The Bends" and OASIS' "Be Here Now" — among countless others — have been recorded.
The camp is so much more than a "meet-and-greet" opportunity, as it truly provides a full-on rock experience — with 10-plus hours of daily jamming with the rock star counselors, meals with celebrity musicians, a CD of the campers' music recorded at Abbey Road studios and a DVD of their live performance at The Cavern.
